The web store sells products to adult individuals as well as companies and municipalities. Product prices include 24 % VAT which is deducted if sold outside the European Union. Please note that any taxes or duties charged upon delivery outside the European Union are the responsibility of the recipient.
We reserve the right to make changes to prices or delivery costs.
Orders are placed in the web store by placing products in the shopping cart and completing a payment via an online payment service. All customer information is handled with confidentiality. Contact information requested during the ordering process are not used for any purpose other than order fulfillment or contacting the customer about any issues with the order. Upon placing an order you are expected to familiarize yourself and accept the current terms and conditions.
Payments are made using Klarna Checkout, Checkout Finland or PayPal. Each of these services has various payment options available (including but not limited to card payments and direct transfers) which are presented during the checkout process.
By entering information during the Klarna Checkout process you accept the terms and conditions of Klarna AB (Klarna AB, Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden).
By entering information during the Checkout Finland process you accept the terms and conditions of Checkout Finland Oy (Checkout Finland Oy, Eteläpuisto 2 C, 33200 Tampere, Finland).
By completing a purchase you accept the terms and conditions of the Menita Web Store.
Companies and communities (including municipalities) may place orders which are invoiced at the end of the month of the purchase. The payment methods available for each customer are displayed during checkout when logged in. Logging in is not required for the completion of an order.
Once we have received your order, we will send you an email order confirmation with a summary of your order information. Always check the contents of the order confirmation. If you have any questions, consult our customer service immediately. Keep the order confirmation in case you need to contact customer service. Please have your customer number (if any) and order number handy when contacting customer service. Always check the delivered products to make sure they match the order confirmation.

The web store contact number is in service Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm local time. Outside these hours, or if the line is busy, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We ship worldwide. The orders are delivered by mail (with Finnish Post or its partners in other countries). Regular parcel deliveries within Finland attract a delivery fee of 5.90 €. Orders within Finland in excess of 60 € are delivered free of charge using the regular parcel delivery method. Orders picked up in store are also processed free of handling or delivery fees. If an order delivered post free is partially returned so that the final order total is less than 60 €, a delivery cost of 5.90 € will be deducted from the refund upon processing.
Small, letter-sized deliveries within Finland attract a postage fee of 2.90 € and up. If letter delivery is available for your order, it will be present in the shopping cart. Orders weighing in excess of 100 grams will be delivered as a parcel regardless of the size as the parcel delivery is more economical. Please note that no tracking is available for letter deliveries.
You can also have your order delivered to your door (in Finland). The exact time will be agreed upon directly with the customer service of Finnish Post. Home delivery costs 13.90 € regardless of the order total.
Delivery methods and costs outside Finland are presented in the shopping cart upon checkout. These vary depending on the destination and the weight of the order. Parcels are delivered via Parcel Connect (1-8 working days, from 7.90 €) as well as Priority Parcel (3-14 working days, from 14.85 €).

The maximum weight of a single order is 35 kg within Finland and 30-31.5 kg to other countries depending on the delivery method. Should you wish to place an order exceeding this weight, please place a second order.
NB! Regarding pick-up orders: orders picked up in-store are only handed over to the person who placed the order or another person with a written permission slip signed by the person who placed the order. Please bring an official ID, such as passport or driver's licence. If you already know that someone else will be picking up your order when placing it, we recommend entering this person's name as the recipient, as they will then not need a permission slip.
We strive to dispatch all orders within two working days. A great majority of orders are processed and shipped either the day of ordering or the next working day. Should there be any delays, we will inform you as soon as possible.
We cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by force majeure or any incidental damages caused by such delays. The delivery times and delays of any postal services are also out of our control.
You have the right to cancel this agreement within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period ends within 14 days starting from the day you received the last shipment, or in the case of downloadable products, from the moment you received the order.
In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to cancel the agreement in an unambiguous way (for example, by mail or by email).
To comply with the deadline for withdrawal, it is sufficient that you submit your notice of cancellation before the end of the withdrawal period.
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
You must return the goods without delay and no later than 14 days after informing us about your decision to withdraw from the contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You are only responsible for the kind of value decrease of the goods that did not result from treatment that is required for determining the nature, properties and functionality of the goods.
Please note that we can only accept returns of unused items with their original packaging and product tags.
Failing to accept a delivery does not constitute a return or withdrawal. Any parcels returned to Menita Oy Ltd. as undelivered or refused will attract a return fee which will be deducted from any refund processed. This fee is equal to the actual shipping and return costs incurred, or 10 €, whichever is greater.
If your order has been damaged or lost during shipping or it fails to meet your expectations in any other way, you must inform us of this in writing within 14 days using the contact details listed above. If the parcel is visibly damaged during transit, you must refuse the delivery and make a claim with the delivery company immediately.
