Multitonal Novita 7 Veljestä (7 Brothers) Polaris is part of the beloved, classic 7 Veljestä product family. Polaris was named after the magic Northern Lights, which have also inspired its colours. The pattern of the final knit depends on the number of stitches, the tension and the needle size. The final pattern also depends on whether you knit in the round, such as socks, or in flat knitting as with the front or back piece of a top. Women’s top sized M requires approximately 600 g of wool, and one ball is enough for women’s socks. Polaris is a blend of 75% wool and 25% polyamide. The products can be machine-washed at 40 degrees. Recommended needle size 5 mm / 8 US needle size, for socks 3½ / 4 US needle size. 100 g ball has 200 metres of yarn.
